Ashleigh + Drew | Fairhope, Alabama

Hope you all had a very merry Christmas! I am back to some serious blogging this week to bring you Ashleigh and Drew's romantic Spring wedding in Fairhope, Alabama. I have worked with the groom's mom, Jane of Southern Calligraphy, for a few years now and was so happy she connected me with Drew's bride, Ashleigh. The couple, now living in Birmingham, are from Fairhope and wanted a sweet, southern wedding that was comfortable and fun for their guests. They wed at Fairhope United Methodist Church and had a fabulous reception at The Venue (just a block away from the church, I know their guests appreciated that!) The talented Dragonfly Photography captured their beautiful Spring day perfectly. Their wedding will be featured in an upcoming Spring publication that I can't wait to share soon. 

Loved adding some florals to their Spring wedding day! Their sweet and southern details were the perfect touch to their hometown wedding. The band was a huge hit, and the dance floor stayed full the ENTIRE night! Love when that happens. I look forward to flowering up a fabulous Louisiana wedding this Spring alongside Dragonfly Photography!

Ashleigh + Drew | Rehearsal Dinner | Fairhope, Alabama

Before I show you the details of A + D's beautiful wedding, I want to start by sharing their intimate rehearsal dinner. I loved this evening so much! I worked alongside Jane Dolan of Southern Calligraphy to bring this event to life. The groom and his family took their Italian heritage into consideration when choosing the plans for their dinner. With it's tuscan architecture and authentic menu, Pinzone's Italian Village was the obvious choice for them. We kept the florals and decor clean and simple, so the atmosphere wasn't overlooked. We chose family-style seating and prayed for clear skies so the dinner can take place in the courtyard like we envisioned! It was just perfect.
Southern Calligraphy created an organic style menu (that can be found with our 2016 paper goods collection) and hand-torn calligraphy place cards. These bounced perfectly off the crisp white table linens and against the deep Italian Ruscus greenery we adorned the tables with. Paige Reaux Photography captured every detail perfectly and was a dream to work with! Can't wait to team up with her talented self again soon.

What a beautiful and joyous evening celebrating Ashleigh + Drew! Pinzone's Courtyard was the perfect setting for their dinner and they were able to mingle with friends and family before their big day.
