We’ve been in full throttle Halloween mode over here (okay or maybe just me). It’s so fun having a one year old this year and getting to do some playful things! We did these DIY Treat Pails via Lauren Conrad’s Blog and turned them into “Boo Baskets” for a few of Thomas’s buddies and their moms.

Thomas picked out these toy cars for his buddies, and I added stickers and sensory toys. Then a candle and champagne for their great moms (because every holiday calls for champagne!). Topped it off with some homemade macarons for a sweet treat.

To be honest, I just wrote a quick note with a black sharpie, haha. I had planned to print cute tags (but didn’t want it to be Christmas before I dropped them off), so here it is below, but a link to download is at bottom of this post!

Happy Halloween!!

Well as we roll through October, we got our first glimpse of Fall in south Alabama. Temps were almost (my kind of) perfect for two whole days. Blue skies, golden light and 70-75 degrees. It felt so good after a long, blistering Summer. We were thankful to have no plans today and we got to enjoy a few hours at Magnolia Corn Maze in Summerdale.
We met another couple there with their sweet girl (and a baby boy on the way)! Thomas and Elle danced to the music, fed the goats together, snacked while riding in Elle’s wagon, etc. The corn maze and hay ride were so fun as a group! We even did the "hardest” corn maze, and both mamas agreed we wouldn’t have done that without the husbands! ha! It was quite long.
Of course, just as we were talking about the amazing weather… it did warm up. Thomas lost his pants and shoes to keep cool (so I was definitely “that” mom and not ashamed).
Anyways, what a fun time! We give Magnolia Corn Maze 5 stars, and we will definitely go back next year!
