Beach Bridal Shower featured on Style Me Pretty

So happy to finally blog this beautiful beach bridal shower that Kaylie Poplin (now Mrs. Becker) dreamed up! I was so happy she asked me and VAD to be apart. Kaylie had a very laid-back, and enjoyable vision that I rolled with. She chose the talented Mrytie Blue to provide some lovely blooms for the shower. I brought in perfect rentals from Blue Rents, curated decor from antique shops and other retailers along the gulf coast, and stunning calligraphy place cards from Southern Calligraphy. The bride was surrounded by her favorite gals as they gushed over her upcoming nuptials with the ocean in the background. It was lovely! See the beautiful day, featured on Style Me Pretty and my favorite images below.

I loved planning for, styling and attending this event! It was a special one with sweet friends and got us geared up for Kaylie's big day.. which is another event I can't wait to share more about!

Winter Rose Shoot | Magnolia Rouge Issue 5

'Better late than never' is a saying I seem to love, especially when it comes to blogging! This morning I wanted to quickly share some of my favorite images from a winter shoot I took part in that was featured in Magnolia Rouge Issue 5 and blog, as well as the Birmingham Bride.
My friends here in South Alabama got together with the idea of a winter shoot and I reached out to a vendor in Birmingham to see if their team would like to be apart! Before I knew it, our little beach bums were headed North to shoot at Morgan Creek Vineyard outside of Birmingham. Laura McCarty, of Marked, brought the most beautiful blooms. Her talent really gave this shoot it's edge! Jennifer Pharr, from Mobile, captured the sunset vineyard perfectly and really embraced all of the natural light around us with her film.
Mary Kendall Butler, of Bella Bridesmaids, from Mobile brought a car load of beautiful gowns for us to play with! All hand-selected in ivory, champagne, silk and chiffon gowns that were perfectly soft and dainty against the rich blooms by Marked!
