Victoria Austin Designs REBRAND + REVAMP

January 2015 has been a whole new experience for me. As last Fall progressed, I took on a lot more projects than I anticipated. These projects were the cobblestones to my 2015. I have added an array of services to my ever changing business and it has been a whirlwind of fun! I truly feel like I am getting to the heart of what I do, and it's becoming so much more fulfilling creating beyond paper. I met Kaylie Poplin a few months ago, and I am so thankful that we crossed paths! She has been such an honor to work with, as well as a fabulous friend and support through my business changes. Kaylie helped complete my vision for my new website photos and really helped me start 2015 with a bang. I have a lot of work that I am proud of, both styled and real, but I wanted my website to be cohesive, crisp and my overall style. We had a blast shooting in the lovely neighborhood of Watercolor, fl. We had a few fabulous models and Angela, of Hemstich Vintage Rentals, brought some of her lovely pieces to complete our look.

I just LOVE these so much. Kaylie captured my vision perfectly, and I will always cherish these photos! Little side note, the second model featured is my sister! I am so happy she was in town from Portland, OR to jump in a few of these. There is no "model" out there that will get in a wedding gown and a bathtub as quickly as a sister, haha! I will share some 'behind-the-scenes' images of me and the girls working next! :)

Nashville Adventures

Last Fall flew by and I was lucky enough to visit Nashville not once, but twice! My first trip was absolutely so fun. I met an April bride and groom there with their family to knock out a few big wedding details! Megan and Joe (bride and groom) are too fun, we laughed the whole time while they narrowed their menu options, cake, etc. We met with the lovely Amanda Gros for Megan's bridal hair and makeup trial and she knocked it out of the park. Megan was stunning! I can't wait to see her all done up on the big day. They also showed me around Nashville, Vanderbilt (Megan's Alma Mater) and Franklin! So many lovely places but none quite as beautiful as their wedding venue! :) I'll spare their wedding details for now as we lock in their final details and get prepared for the BIG day… It's going to be an amazing one.
I went back to Nashville shortly after with friend and photographer, Jennifer Pharr. We had a blast road-tripping our way up there for the Pursue Workshop and then shot a little styled bridal session that packed a ton of SASS. I am still blown away by Nashville's hospitality and sweet locals. I reached out to a few talented vendors who graciously came to the gorgeous Bloomsbury Farm to make magic with us! They made the whole shoot extra special for us.

Love these photos from Austin Gros so so much. Shades of blue have never looked so good. I am beyond giddy to head back to the Cordelle in Nashville for SEE Sessions with Jessica Sloane in February and then back to Bloomsbury in April for one heck of a wedding. You can see more from our styled shoot at the farm on Wedding Sparrow in a few weeks, and in my portfolio
