DIY Mini Party Flags

I am back from a busy few weeks! Most importantly, I got married! You can now call me Mrs. Austin! We honeymooned on the beaches of the U.S. and British Virgin Islands and it was nothing short of amazing! I can't wait to share all the details and vendor info but first, a quick and easy DIY trick you should know before your next party!

For durability, I used washi tape over cardstock and then cut along the tape. You could also just use colored cardstock!

Don't those look ready for a party? They were shared at a Crawfish Boil earlier this month! You could also use these with longer sticks for drink stirrers, appetizer picks, etc!

Hope you enjoy this Easy-Peasy DIY this weekend!

Cheers,

Invites, Invites, Invites

I am alive! This post (any post for that matter) is long overdue. My trusty ole' Macbook hit it's life expectancy a few months ago and as many of you know, it is near impossible to blog without it! Thankfully, my amazing fiance got me a Macbook Pro for Christmas!

I am back.

In the past few months, I have hosted a few different showers and I wanted to share the pretty (and DIY) invites I used! These were so simple to do and easy on the budget! I used free printables from Wedding Chicks for each of my invites. I used a local printing company to print on my linen paper for best results!

My other "must-do" trick is to run your envelopes through the printer and download a fabulous, free font to add a special touch to the invite! If you ask me, this makes all the difference. These invites set the tone for each event and actually helped figuring out color schemes and decor.

Feel free to comment with any questions using free printables!
